LIMITED, KPL, is a leading supplier of fuels and lubricants to the marine
industry and a physical bunker supplier and barge operator in Pakistan. Our
Bunker & Lubricants Division is committed to providing a first-class service to
all its customers.
KPL has a dedicated
and professional staff that ensures strict quality control, as well as
continuous improvement. We rigorously follow and enforce a responsible
environmental policy.
THE FLEET:
Our Bunker Fleet currently consists of four
barges:
TAELI-1, a Fuel Oil barge of 250 MTS capacity,
TAELI-2, a Fuel Oil barge of 350 MTS capacity.
TAELI-3, a Gas Oil Barge of 80 MTS capacity.
TAELI-4, a Fuel Oil barge of 200 MTS capacity.
TAIMUR-1, a Fuel Oil barge of 600 MTS capacity,
(currently under construction in KMEW).
ABOUT THE DIVISION:

KPL buys IFO 180 cSt (summer grade) / IFO
125 cSt (winter grade)/ MGO / MDO/ Lubricants from the Oil Refineries, Oil
Marketing Companies. We also blend Fuel Oil to the required grade of our
customers also.

BUNKERING HISTORY:
In 1999, KPL started bunkering by
providing Pakistan State Oil Company Limited its 250 DWT barge, TAELI-1, for
furnace oil and becoming its exclusive cartage contractor.
On 9th October 2002, KPL
received permission to import fuel Oil for Bunkering from the Ministry of
Petroleum & Natural Resources, Directorate General Oil, Government of Pakistan.
On 15th October 2003, KPL
received permission to buy Fuel Oil for Bunkering directly from the Oil
Refineries, from the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources, Directorate
General Oil, Government of Pakistan.

Bunkering ports.
